About us
Today's young people are faced with greater challenges to their learning and character growth than ever before-- and by extension, so are their parents when making valiant efforts to raise them. With increased demands in the classroom and decreased attention thanks to modern technology, young people face pronounced adaptive stress and require distinctive tools to develop both holistic wellness and competitive success.
In order to overcome these distinctive challenges, we believe students must be trained to be socially and emotionally resilient, creative, and collaborative so that they can overcome any challenge. Thus, we employ the Socratic Method to encourage our students to develop intellectual rigor, resourcefulness, and independence. Made famous by the Oxford tutorial system, the Socratic Method uses question-based learning to encourage students to think critically and reason for themselves, instead of conforming to rote memorization.
Through the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, we help students to recognize their capacity to succeed not only in the classroom, but in the world beyond.
