MENTORSHIP & COACHING

At Oxford Tutors, we understand that every client has particular strengths and weaknesses.

Our job as strategists and coaches is simple: we must attune ourselves to the individuality of each client and mentor them in the particular growth necessary to achieve their unique potential. To this end, we specialize in three modes of mentorship: Vocational, Neurodivergence, and Parenting.

NEURODIVERGENCE

We believe in the possibility of transforming one’s neurodivergence into a superpower. As such, our strategies for shifting learning outcomes involve solidifying students’ strengths while scaffolding support around their weaknesses. Our dynamic and highly individualized approach to supporting neurodivergence is effective and unique, integrating recent neurodivergence research and best practices, as well as collaboration with schools, neuropsychologists, and mental health care providers.

PARENTING

However impactful we may be as coaches and educators, we recognize that parents always hold the greatest possibility to positively impact their children's learning, character, and resiliency. Through parent coaching with our highly trained clinical psychologists and parenting coaches, we support parents in developing the necessary tools to optimize their children's behavior. We also offer parent trainings to support parents seeking to provide learning support themselves instead of hiring us.

VOCATIONAL

For young people entering their professional lives, we offer guidance to determine meaningful career paths in alignment with one's natural abilities. Cultivating resiliency, problem solving skills, and self awareness, we work with young people during and after college to help them develop job-finding (and job-keeping) skills. Through integrated reflection and action, our vocational development mentorship supports focused discovery.
